Covid-19 Policy
COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION
We ask you that please be aware of the following safety information in relation to the event.
Please refer to the NSW Government website for COVID-19 guidance and support for people in NSW, COVID-19 | NSW Government. Please note that this page is updated daily, so we ask that you check back regularly to this page prior to the event.
From Friday 18 February 2022, QR check-ins will only be required for certain venues. You will not be required to check-in for the Head Above Water swim.
If you or any member of your household are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event.
If you or any member of our household have tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the event.
You are not required to be fully vaccinated or carry vaccination evidence, but we do ask all volunteers, participants and spectators to be always mindful of others and where possible social distance.
There will be COVID Marshalls in attendance and respectfully ask for your compliance and cooperation with complying with instructions from these individuals – PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE VOLUNTEERS.
Please practice proper hygiene whilst present at the event and if you do begin to feel unwell, please leave the venue.
There will be several hand sanitiser stations available throughout the venue.
We ask that you minimise your time at the venue and only attend for the period that you need to swim. We encourage all swimmers to shower at home after swimming.
Please do not share food, drink, or towels with anyone outside your household.
Head Above Water volunteers will ensure that any equipment that needs to be shared to ensure the smooth running of the event, is cleaned at regular intervals throughout the event.
Contactless payment is preferred.

Please note this information will be emailed out to all volunteers before the event and is listed on the website. In addition, we will be providing this information in the safety briefing and it will be visible at the registration for all volunteers and swimmers to review.
